PrideStaff Financial has partnered with our Plano based client in search of a dynamic Accounting Manager to join their growing team! (80-100k DOE!)
This position is located in the Shops at Legacy with quick access to dining, shopping and entertainment.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the supervision of a team of accountants, ensuring financial statements are accurate and produced in a timely manner.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the supervision of a team of accountants, ensuring financial statements are accurate and produced in a timely manner.
- Consolidated financial statement review, analysis & reporting for period close
- Bank reconciliation review
- Work directly with the divisions to ensure accurate posting of accounting entries
- Assist in the development of policies & procedures to ensure processes are streamlined and headcount are utilized effectively.
- Assist leadership with special projects
- Oversee relationships with internal clients
- Manage annual staff performance assessment
- Supervise staff development, ensuring training is sufficient for department success
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures and systems of internal control.
- Partner with the external audit team
- Qualifications Include:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting: CPA or CPA Candidate is preferred, not required
- 4 to 7 years of accounting experience in a large or midsize corporation with consistent career progression is desired. Can be in public accounting, industry OR a mixture of both
- GAAP audit experience is required
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management and department staff in a fast-paced/deadline driven environment
- Proficient in MS Suite
- Strong supervisory skills, empowering employees and delegating appropriately
- Experience reviewing legal agreements and ensuring compliance from the Accounting team.
- Industry experience: Hospitality, multi-location, real estate preferred (not required)
- Overtime will be necessary at month-end and during peak seasons
