We need an Admin assistant that can support the VP of business relationships.

Job Description

20% of the job will be managing the VP's calendar and booking his appointments - while it's a minor part of the job in terms of time spent, it's one of the most important. They must be comfortable making outbound calls, prioritizing scheduling appointments, and speaking to high level representatives from member companies. It's very similar to a cold call, but not sales focused - the VP will generate his own leads, and have the admin reach out to set him a meeting. It's a very easy sell and he will train them on how to have the conversation, but must be comfortable making outbound calls to new prospects.

1. Make/schedule appointments with senior executives of prospective member companies.
a. Use effective follow-up, research and creative thinking to accomplish.
b. Proactively keep the pre-call pipeline full.
c. Calling identified prospective members or assistants to coordinate meetings
d. Coordinate and schedule meetings with small and large groups of prospective and current members, sometimes including members of the Colorado Association of Commerce & Industry team.
NOTE: This item is more important than all the next combined and is critical to job success.


Will need to be able to answer phones, schedule calendars, organize reports, and provide general clerical support.

Will also be responsible for greeting guests for meetings and setting up appointment for members of the team.

Managing multiple calendars, and organization of networking events.
