HIRING 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift CNC Operators
Job Description
Produce machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Principal Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of CNC machines
- Ability to install tooling, inserts, chuck and jaws
- Touch-off tooling
- Knowledge of blueprints
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Qualifications
- 1+ years in machining
- Combination of experience and education should provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to:
- Read and understand blueprints, shop orders and work instructions
- Demonstrate general knowledge of machine shop practices and techniques and cutting tool basics.
- Must have strong math skills including the ability to work with fractions, decimals, and perform basic math problems
- Frequently lift 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
