Mechanic

Job Summary

We are looking for a mechanic that is ambitious and willing to learn a new trade. We are searching for an industrial machine mechanic for service our production lines in our manufacturing facility. Engine Mechanics would work out great for this position and the skills are very relative and transferable, if you are an individual that is willing to learn and try new things. This is a 2nd shift position 1p-9p Monday thru Friday with rotating on call time and anywhere from 10-20 hours a week of overtime available for the taking.

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintenance Mechanic This position consists of repairing and maintaining all production and facility equipment, new equipment installations, and maintaining established preventative maintenance programs. Must be proficient in reading electrical/mechanical prints, and must have good attendance record. Primary Responsibilities: Repair and maintain high speed production equipment Install new equipment Follow established P.M. program Machine/line troubleshooting Rebuilding equipment

Qualifications and Skills

Job Qualifications High School diploma or GED required Experience with electrical/mechanical machine repair Experience with welding and pipe fitting Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical print's Ability to use all shop tools Ability to lift up to 55lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, or kneel for long periods of time
