Customer Service Representative - Health Insurance
The position is outlined below
We have 1 position open which would be LONG TERM temporary with the possibility (no guarantee) of hire.
Pay Rate: $12.00-$13.00 and is based upon customer service experience and healthcare insurance knowledge
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00.

JOB SUMMARY: A professional and highly motivated Customer Service Representative is needed to make and answer calls from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Customer Service Supervisor
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES•
Provide front-line phone customer service to policyholders (members), providers and internal customers.
A typical day will likely involve fielding between 75 to 100 calls. Ensure customer satisfaction and strive to ensure service standards are met Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits of patients.
Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the industry and of all products, services and processes performed by the team.
Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues.
Demonstrates professional etiquette and courtesy when interfacing with customers.
Strong verbal communication skills, Strong written communication skills and Great telephone etiquette
No sales / telemarketing involved.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school studies; some post high school course work preferred
Experience: I year customer service experience required and MUST have 1 year experience with health insurance.
Knowledge: General knowledge of health insurance operational functions. Familiarity with health insurance claims policies and procedures and medical terminology. Coding knowledge is extremely helpful.
Attendance is crucial to this position. Unscheduled call-offs must be minima'.
