Sales Associate

A boutique in Santa Monica, specializing in woman s clothing, is currently seeking a part-time Sales Associate.

Requirements:

2+ years of Retail & Sales Experience is a must no exceptions

Experience in working with sale quotas & must have a track record

Must be motivated, energetic, responsible & enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills.

Must have the ability to interact with a wide range of clientele and be willing to build personal relationships with each client. This is not just a sales job; the applicant must have a good sense of style and become a personal style/ beauty product advisor to the clients. The goal is always to maximize sales and up-sell the client.

The ideal candidate would have an outgoing personality and skill to immediately find a connection with a potential customer, get the customer to like you and be willing to listen to your recommendations.

Must feel comfortable using various POS systems, Microsoft Office and website content management.

Job Responsibilities:

Greeting potential customers as they arrive, find a personal connection with them, explaining our product lines, getting them to try the products and close sales.

Being able to multi-task and assist clients with their clothing purchasing decision, especially up selling

Opening/ Closing Procedures, light housekeeping, merchandising, inventory management and other daily tasks.

Assisting with photo-shoots and website content management.
