Job Summary

 A growing Freight Brokerage is looking for a highly motivated individual for our sales department. This is a part-time position that may lead to full time employment for the right candidate! If you are goal oriented, competitive, and driven then this is the opportunity for you! The individual will be responsible to support sales goals of the company through telephone solicitation and scheduling appointments.

Primary responsibilities

  • Educate prospective clients on services
  • Develop and follow up on business leads.
  • Cold call, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Persuade potential customers to purchase service
  • Enter information into computers.
  • Explain services in detail.
  • Answer questions from prospects
  • Explain or negotiate prices.
  • Follow up on prospective leads.
  • Obtain names and numbers of potential customers from telephone directors or purchased lists.
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with potential clients.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
