1st Shift Feed Manufacturing Operator

POSITION SUMMARY
To manufacture and inspect feed.

Essential Functions:
• Assists in the efficient scaling of hand additives
• Bag feed produced from mill
• Scale and load bulk feed trucks on campus
• Receive incoming bulk ingredients
• Maintains equipment and facilities, and a clean work area
• Follow all HACCP SOP’s (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point’s Standard Operating
Procedures)
• Enforce and uphold the cooperative’s safety and credit policies
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Minimum HS Diploma or GED required
• Agriculture experience desirable, but not required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments
efficiently
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to work as a team, coordinating efforts toward organizational goals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding, received instructions, which can be furnished in
written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to problem solve in situations involving several concrete variables in standardized
situations
• Basic computer skills
