Sales Supervisors are responsible for maintaining outstanding guest service as per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets. Sales Supervisors possesses in-depth knowledge of products, sales concepts, practices, and procedures. The Sales Supervisor will drive value to the company by contributing to the profitability of our stores through effective visual displays, replenishment, freight processing, and inventory control efforts and by partnering with Distribution, Loss Prevention and the Merchants to execute company vision and strategy.

    

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Mange and oversee the visual merchandising process to ensure company standards and priorities are achieved.
  • Responsible for overall look and feel of the store, including storefront windows, sales floor, and displays.
  • Responsible for all promotional products and ad signage for given departments.
  • Direct the daily work within the store when manager on-duty – determining sales techniques, dividing work, scheduling, monitoring and implementing compliance measures and loss prevention techniques, maintaining merchandising and cleanliness standards
  • Engage in performance management of store personnel – handling employee complaints, delivering positive reinforcement, disciplining employees, appraising employee productivity, monitoring employee sales performance
  • Provide training resources for employees in POS, product knowledge, guest service, sales and company values
  • Ensure the store associates follow company sales and selling standards and provide excellent customer service
  • Enforce company cash handling and other Loss Prevention policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the planning and control activities for the store’s annual operating budget
  • Monitor daily payroll budgets
  • Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
  • Generate sales, demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Remain current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products
  • Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards

 

Job Requirements: 

  • HS Diploma of GED equivalent
  • Passion for Skiing/Snowboarding and Cycling
  • 3-4 years of retail experience
  • 1-2 year of management experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends
