Delivery Driver Helper
General Description/Purpose

The primary function of the Delivery Driver Helper is to plan and execute delivery activities in ways that maintain the Lowe's brand while at

customers' homes. This includes preparing delivery loads, following planned delivery routes, and assisting with merchandise installations

or returns. The Delivery Driver Helper is responsible for unloading, installing, and checking appliances and store equipment. The Delivery Driver Helper is

also responsible for the cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles, and observing safety procedures regarding

Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hazmat, and power equipment tools. This includes maintaining DOT and CDL

certifications and complying with reporting. Lastly, the Delivery Driver Helper is responsible for completing all other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Required to work a Corporate schedule determined by Staffing

Department, but may be changed by store management based on the needs of the store. Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day

require advanced notification and approval by supervisor. Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or 10 to 25 hours

per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.
