POSITION PURPOSE
The Sr. Analyst, Merch Ops Multichannel will implement analytics strategy for Home Services Merchandising. This role will analyze data to evaluate internal cost, retail and profitability plus conduct competitive/industry reviews. The Sr. Analyst will use various analytical tools to uncover trends and provide insight that will maximize Home Services Merchandising’s efforts and overall business objectives. This position will research and analyze business trends and customer behavior data to identify opportunities for optimizing existing program and SKU data models to offer simplified selling online and in store. The Sr. Analyst, Merch Ops Mulitchannel will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the key drivers of performance related to Home Services Merchandising’s objectives.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Position report to Manager, Services
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 4 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrated business/financial modeling capabilities with tools such as SQL, Excel and Access
Demonstrated skills in applying statistical analysis principles to business challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in Business Analyst role(s)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; self-starter
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others
Strong presentation skills

- 20%-Partner with other departments providing analytical insight on business performance
- 20%-Research and analyze business trends & customer behavior data to identify opportunities for website enhancements
- 20%-Analyze web analytics data as well as other offline data to evaluate site performance
- 10%-Provide weekly web analytic dashboards to management and supporting teams
- 10%-Take the lead on new programs and initiatives for Services Online & Analytics team
