Job Title: Retail Management Training Program (RMT)
Locations: Possible Placement Locations: Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia
The Food Lion RMT Program is a long standing one-year training program that prepares individuals for a successful future in our multi-billion dollar company. The RMT program focuses on teaching individuals the business from the ground-up. The RMT has the opportunity to work with seasoned department managers, store managers, and corporate leaders throughout their training. This one-year program is intended to create a solid foundation of technical training, while building upon leadership competencies. After completion of the program candidates will be placed as Assistant Store Managers within their region. From that point the RMT has the opportunity to design their own career path based on their interests within the company. Although the program's name includes "retail", the program is intended to develop future executives for our company.

* A comprehensive rotational program that develops future leaders of the company
* Training phases include, but not limited: produce, grocery, supply chain/distribution, human resources, experiential phase and strategic projects
* Be able to travel to different retail locations to broaden your understanding of the grocery business
* Gain valuable mentors that will help guide your career path
* Develop an implementable recommendations through a strategic project to solve corporate issues
RequirementsQualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree, minimum GPA 3.0 is required
* Demonstrated leadership qualities
* Involvement in extracurricular activities
* Learn quickly and strive for results
* Problem solving, decision making and financial analysis skills
