POSITION SUMMARY: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for screenings, evaluations, treatment and case management for children, birth to age 3 at Child Development Services. Responsibilities also include providing professional guidance to other associates, caregivers, and the general public. The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for assessing, planning and implementing the delivery of care; and with the approval of the patient, sets reasonable and measurable goals within a specific timeframe.

REQUIRED:

Bachelors' Degree

0-1 years' experience

Ability to perform diversified duties within time limitations with a high degree of accuracy

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Organizational skills including: ability to handle confidential information, ability to float as requested by supervisor/manager, ability to maintain good health and reliable attendance

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated skill in clinical interviewing

Physical Effort: Frequent/strenuous physical effort (e.g. heavy lifting, sustained physical effort, extensive carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.)

Current valid Driver's License with proof of insurance and registration.

Must have access to and drive a vehicle for work related services.

Must have daily access to a mobile phone and email for work communication.

PREFERRED:

Master's Degree

2-4 years' experience

Ability to problem solve, critical thinking and priority setting skills. Membership/participation in professional organizations
