Skills:
- Maintain composure and make appropriate decisions when reacting to a variety of situations that may involve the safety of persons and property
- Determine priorities among simultaneous requests and messages
- Quickly and accurately transcribe radio and telephone messages
- Deal with the public in a tactful, professional manner
- Ability to type at a reasonable speed with accuracy
- At least one year of administrative/clerical experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in criminal justice and law enforcement preferred
