Job Description:

A&P Mechanic: Working on Citiation models performing maintenance, repairs, modifications, and phase inspections. On the job training provided.

Performs assembly, disassembly and repairs required in the completion of airframe overhaul, repair or modifications, including but not limited to removal, replacement and repair of parts of engines, airframes and systems.
Responsible for helping licensed mechanics set up and tear down the equipment, tools and supplies used during the repair of customers aircraft.
Required to tow and move aircraft during the performance of maintenance duties.
Assists in the cleaning of parts and components during the repair and assembly of aircraft.

Work Environment:

Hanger Environment. On the job training. Need a great attitude and work eithic. They will be evaluated by their supervisors. Picking things up fast is important. The shifts for the first six months will be on days during the regular business week since the crews are heavier and the stronger leaders sit on first shift to train. After that, they will more than likely move to 2nd shift and weekend shifts since this is a 24 hour facility. MUST know this going into this and be completely locked down on this before proceeding.

OT available based on need.

Will start training on first shift M-F then move to either weekend shift F-M 7 - 5:30pm or 2nd shift M-F 3:30 - 2am

Qualifications:

The qualified individual can be a fit based on the following requirements:
-has 3+ years of turning wrenches on business jets/general aviation (Citation, Hawer, Falcon, Lear, Gulfstream, Embrear).
-Big plus having experience on Citation.
-possess their A&P
-Big plus if they have experience working with Sheetmetal.
-A big plus if the mechanics have spent 50/50 mix of performing avionics and maintenance to general aviation, business jets with their A&P.


3-7 years of experience citations (one must have this) and the others a very strong corporate background only (hawkers, lears, gulfstreams, business corporate jets). All must have A&P license, and the desire to stay with the company for a long term carear path. Need own tools. Road warriors would not be a fit for this position since this is contract to hire; however they are open to seeing individuals that have been doing contract assignments the last 1-2 years as long with a firm because they are tired of the travel.
