Manufcaturing Engineer

One of Aerotek's elite clients who specialize in interior injection molding for the automotive industry is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Support new launch products (will have over 100 new tools)
• Be the customer liaison
• Oversee projects with internal departments and suppliers
• Make Bill of Materials and issue to internal departments
• Responsible for product from conception through manufacturing and after delivery to the customer
• Responsible for product design's compliance with customer's standards, company standards, and engineering principles
• Problem solving on the floor
• Kaizen activities
• Continuous improvements on existing assembly lines
• Inventor software for fixture and assembly layout designs
