Assembly Mechanic

Job Description:

Assembly Mechanics will be performing the final assembly of the landing gears. will be required to work off blueprints and maintenance manuals to make sure everything is being put together properly and in compliance with FAA and AAR standards.

Work Environment:

Facility is all indoors and climate controlled. Very large warehouse set up. They have all the departments for landing gear in the same building. more of a family type of environment. They have a lot of people that have been there for a long time.

Collard shirts are required and shorts are only acceptable if issued by AAR as part of the uniform.

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:
A&P License
2+ years turning wrenches in the Aviation industry
ability to read and apply maintenance manual procedures
Must be able to pick up the procedures that are specific to AAR quickly. must have the willingness to learn.
Must have positive attitude everyday

NICE TO HAVE:
Experience assembling aircraft landing gear
Experience on Narrow and Wide bodied aircraft
