Special Event Associates: $12.00/hr. - $13.00/hr.
We are looking for Retail Associates to work for one of our clients at a Christkindlmarkt booth. With this client you have the opportunity to receive a bonus at the end of the event and be considered for a full time position with their company. Also the client will help you obtain a liquor license if you need one for the job.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Serving food and beer to guests.
- Properly processing transactions using the point of sale inventory and being accountable for the balance of your drawer at the point of sale.
- Consistently treating all customers, staff, and volunteers with friendliness and respect.
- Quickly communicating operational needs and information to the Markt Master.
- Ensuring a tidy and decorative display area for your booth using guidelines provided by the Christkindlmarkt
- Learning about the German company that you represent, and learning about the products that you are selling.
- Enriching the customer experience by sharing cultural notes about your products and offering product advice.
- Answering customer questions and referring customers to booths offering related products.
- Executing your role with professionalism
The Christkindlmarkt will run from November 18 through December 24. The hours will be:
Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm – 9pm
Friday and Saturday from 1pm – 10pm
Sunday from 1pm – 9pm
Closed Monday and Tuesday and for Thanksgiving
The booths are open air, so you will be exposed to the weather.
The pay is $12.00 - $13.00 per hour.
