CMA - Hematology/Oncology

Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, one of the leading multi-specialty physician clinics in the area, is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant for its Hematology/Oncology department. This individual's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: patient care including rooming patients, updating information in the EMR, providing assistance to providers/nursing staff, stocking and maintenance of rooms, prior authorizations, and clerical duties such as scheduling and phone work. Experience in a medical office performing similar functions is preferable, but not required. The leading candidate(s) will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI's culture including commitment to providing excellent patient care, dedication to teamwork and working well with others, and reliability. Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication skills are required. High level of comfort in working with computers and/or must become proficient in utilizing computer systems including electronic medical record system. CPR certification required. PCI is E.O.E.
