Mechanical Engineer - Materials Test & Analysis - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description: Aerotek client is currently hiring for a Mechanical Engineer - Materials Test & Analysis for their Elkton, MD based client. Ideal candidates currently possesses a DOD active Secret Clearance. Work Environment: Will be working at the Elkton campus, it is a large expanse of land where solid rocket motors and other missile/rocket components are designed, prototyped and manufactured to customer specification. Due to the massive expanse of land that the client site is housed on and having to carry rocket motor parts across the campus, there may be walking and some light lifting involved in the role.

The selected individual will be working with team members across all skill sets to make sure that the product is delivered to customer spec and on time. Will oftentimes need to present results, production updates and other findings to groups. There are standing Monday morning meets that the teams has and this person will likely need to present during those.
