Aerotek is looking for a Junior Quality Inspector to join great Aerospace company in Arvada, Colorado! If you have a good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and a few years of inspection experience, this is the position for you! A strong willingness to learn, grow skills, and support customers is also a key component of this position.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience
- Inspection experience (any or all stages-incoming, in-process, final)
- ANSI, GD&T
- surface plate, micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks, pin gauge experience
- High School Diploma and Two Year Associates Degree or Skilled Trade Degree
Nice to Have:
- Aerospace industry experience
- Ability to obtain a clearance
- Any certs related to: ASQ Quality Inspector, CMM, on-Destructive Testing, GD&T, Tool Calibration
- CMM Programming (can train on)
- PC-DMIS (can train on)
About the position:
- Working on a team of 3 inspectors
- 6 Month Contract to Hire
- Pay ranging between $24-$37 an hour based on experience.
- Schedule is FLEXIBLE. Primarily will be working on days during 6 month contract but potential to go nights 4pm-4am 3 days a week with optional 4th day if you want to work over time.
