A pediatric general surgeon is needed in Jacksonville. This is a great opportunity for a pediatric surgeon looking to build a practice from the ground up. This surgeon will be part of the HCA Physician Services Group employed network and enjoy all of the benefits of being employed through HCA - competitive compensation and benefits package, malpractice coverage, PTO, CMEs, and relocation assistance will be provided. HCA owns 2 Hospitals in the Jacksonville area and the incoming surgeon will practice at both facilities: Orange Park Medical Center and Memorial Hospital. The facilities offer: * Level II NICUs * PICU with 24 hour Pediatric Intensivists on staff * General Pediatric Floor * Pediatric Emergency Departments Supporting service lines include: anesthesiology, radiology, pediatric emergency medicine physicians, pediatric intensivists, pediatric infectious disease HCA has become the largest system of providers for pediatric services in the country. With this responsibility, HCA has invested in pediatric services through the creation of the Children's Service Line. The Children's Service group has recently developed a long range, enterprise-wide strategic plan with over seventy hospitals engaged in the planning process.
