RECREATION SUPERINTENDENT The City of Mentor is seeking an individual to work as Recreation Superintendent in the Parks & Recreation Department.
This full-time, exempt position is responsible for planning and conducting a wide-ranging program of year-round recreational activities for all ages.
Work requires the supervision of a small full-time staff as well as a large group of part-time, seasonal and temporary employees.
Excellent communication skills are required.
Bachelors Degree with major course work in park and recreation administration along with accreditation as a Certified Parks and Recreational Professional (CPRP) is preferred.
Considerable work experience in a leadership role in community recreation programs is desired.
