Hiring ALL levels of Composite Technicians. These are Direct Placement opportunities.
Job Description: The candidates are responsible for the assembly of composite molds. The candidates will be fabricating composite parts using pre preg and dry lay up kits, vacuum bagging, sealing the composite parts with epoxies, be familiar with multi directional orientation or ply orientation. The molds require 100 lay ups to complete and blueprints and directions for completion are provided.
Work Environment: Manufacturing shop/aerospace environment.
Additional Information: The site operates on a 9/80 work schedule, Monday through Friday, every other Friday off; there is also a Sunday through Thursday schedule and a Tuesday through Saturday schedule
- 1st shift: 5AM to 2:30PM, some overtime is required
- 2nd shift: 2:30PM- 12PM, some overtime is required
- 3rd shift is 9PM - 630AM, 3rd shift is only Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
Composite Technician I ($18-20/Hr.)
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- 3-5 years of experience in Assembly/Maintenance/Mechanics
- Able to read blueprints/engineering drawings
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- WILLINGNESS TO LEARN AND GOOD ATTITUDE
Composite Technician II ($20-22/HR.)
- Above qualifications but with some experience working with composite materials
Composite Technician III-IV ($22-30/HR.)
- Varies on years of experience as a Composite Technician within the aerospace industry
