Seeking 8 Sr. Outreach specialist to do the following:
Our Sr. Outreach Specialists make and receive phone calls with the intent of promoting Human Arc's services and work directly, by phone, with health plan members to determine eligibility for Social Security disability benefits. They provide a high level of customer service and support to Medicaid health plan members. They rely on experience, training, and analytical skills to determine eligibility for government programs. Sr. Outreach Specialists handle confidential protected health information in their daily work.
- Take incoming calls from customers to determine if they qualify for Social Security (These calls can last up to 45 minutes if necessary)
-Gather information from customers over the phone to help make the assessment of if they qualify for Social Security
-Handle calls from customers that can sometimes be emotional (when dealing with personal family situations)
-Ability to consistently hit performance metrics
-Uses system to ensure appropriate questions are asked
-Interpret and explains information such as eligibility requirements and application details
-Compile, record, and evaluate personal and financial data in order to verify completeness and accuracy.
