Job Description
We are seeking a Department Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Pet department.
Responsibilities:
Obtaining and improving a solid background in product line in order to provide exceptional customer service and improve product knowledge of all employees.
- Working with managers and supervisors to ensure product consistency in all locations.
- Providing technical and training support to new employees.
- Stocking shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
- Setting up advertising displays or arranging merchandise to promote sales.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to process information/merchandise through POS register.
