Manufacturing Line Leads/Team Leaders

Excel Staffing partners with premier manufacturing companies throughout the metro area. We are actively recruiting candidates for temp to hire opportunities with one of the top manufacturing companies in the Lakeville, MN area. We have immediate openings for Manufacturing Line Leads/Team Leaders on all shifts. Offering 1st, 2nd and 3rd - 8 hours shifts, as well as 12 hour rotating shifts on both days and nights.

Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic product and process quality checks to ensure material is not defective or damaged and that material is appropriate to customer specifications
• Maintain record of materials and product on the line, check tag inventory
• Use inventory control system to create product tags and ordering product
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Responsible for work assignment, monitoring, training, recording line productivity, quality results, pallet completions, and related activities to support production activities

​Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One or more years experience working in a manufacturing environment, leadership experience
• Food industry experienced preferred
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
