Retail Manager

We are seeking a Retail Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of all retail operations for a church and school including a thrift shop, coffee shop, and various other related programs as well as all on-line related sales.  This is a new position in a growing church and school environment and you will be responsible for managing, training and recruiting volunteers as well as paid staff.     

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, recruit a team of retail sales volunteers. 
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
• Train and evaluate employees 
• Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
• Provide business plan for growth in all areas or retail operations. 
• Inventory Control and Management
• Marketing Plan

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
• Thrift Shop and non-profit experience very helpful.
• Coffee Shop or bookstore experience helpful. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Team player needed.
