Bakery Merchandiser - Full-time / Part-time

Tony’s Fresh Market prides itself on Fresh Quality products in our Bakery Department.  This position is responsible for overseeing bakery operations including merchandising, training, and production of Bakery products in our stores.  The Bakery Merchandiser works with Bakery Director and Store Bakery Managers to exec

Required tasks and skills:

• Customer Service is top priority. Must have ability to engage with customers, and react to specific requests.
• Need to be able to effectively communicate with Bakery team, and Store Management
• Have ability to increase Bakery sales thru Merchandising, buying product, and setting retails competitive with other Bakery shops.
• Reduce Shrink by analyzing sales vs orders
• Maintain awareness of competition
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
• Must have reliable transportation

Position Requirements:

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and demands of the role.
• Provide product knowledge to Bakery Director and Company management
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to execute merchandising plan
• Outgoing personality and enjoys working with people

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Willing to work during peak times of business and Key Bakery Holidays

Required experience:

• Bakery Experience 10 years

Merchandising: 2 years
