ABOUT THE MANAGER/ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION

Partying is serious business. The reality is that great parties don’t throw themselves. Our team works hard to get every detail just right to make sure each party is memorable. As the Manager or Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in pulling it all together and leading that team. We are looking for a dynamic leader who manages by example and motivates the team, identifies opportunities for efficiencies and growth, has a passion for customer service and creating unforgettable experiences, achieves results by thinking creatively and positively and implementing action plans…all while having fun, of course!

We are looking for either a full-time manager that has flexibility to work some weekends and evenings, or a part-time manager with a flexible schedule. The part-time manager position is perfect for those currently attending college as we can develop a schedule around classes. With birthdays being our primary business, parties are concentrated on the weekends, so you’ll be expected to be available for weekend shifts.

What you’ll do:

· Create a positive and fun culture that creates a sense of teamwork and commitment to give every kid the best birthday ever

· Recruit, interview, and hire stellar people who will go above and beyond for our guests

· Provide initial and ongoing training and development for a team of 20-40 Party Attendants

· Be “on the floor” constantly to coach team members and keep your finger on the pulse of the guest experience

· Maintain brand, safety, and cleanliness standards while follow operating procedures

· Oversee food and beverage operations to ensure guests leave full and happy

· Manage inventory to reduce waste and keep expenses in-line

· Analyze financial reports and KPIs to grow revenue, manage costs, and reach (or exceed) targets

· Execute the store’s marketing plan, including digital and social media strategies

· Take party reservations, make party confirmation calls and set up daily pizza orders

Who you are:

· High school diploma required

· 1-3+ years Manager experience (depending on role) in a customer service-focused industry, preferably family entertainment, food service, or childcare (including team management, customer service, and Profit & Loss responsibility)

· Customer service obsessed

· Passionate about creating epic experiences for kids

· An organized “go-getter” with excellent oral and written communication skills, who knows how to manage their time

· A flexible leader with managerial expertise and top-notch analytical and decision-making skills, with a knack for operations

· Detail oriented with a history of increasing profits, managing costs, and creating and achieving goals

· Not afraid to roll up your sleeves, let loose, and (lead a) party, while sometimes working extra hours

· A solution-oriented, enthusiastic optimist

· Experience working with kids and motivating teens

Compensation and hours:

· Hourly rate commensurate with experience ($11-15/hr plus tips and sales incentives)

· Positions are available for part-time of 15-30 hours per week as well as full-time for the right candidate. Both part-time and full-time positions require some night and weekend availability.
