Purpose:
The Regional Manager, North will provide leadership for a geography or format-based group of stores to meet or exceed all sales and profit targets for the region. Coach and develop a management team within assigned area to drive commercial success and excel in customer service. Ensure proper execution of established policies, procedures, initiatives and directives
Key Accountabilities:
* Motivate team through a compelling vision and direction to encompass adidas Group brand values
* Take full ownership of the district and its commercial success
* Support and coach store leadership teams to drive sales and meet key performance indicators, while managing expenses to increase profitability.
* Analyze relevant data to explore and challenge the status quo with both Retail Back Office partners and store leadership teams.
* Build, maintain, and utilize field resources to help improve performance throughout the district such as Training, LP, HR
* Coach managers to increase their stores' sales, productivity and profitability
* Ensure the legal and financial integrity of the stores in the district's portfolio
* Drive a service and selling culture in the district
* Lead consistent store visit evaluations and provide proactive feedback
* Communicate clear expectations and hold the store teams accountable to achieving all
* brand, performance, and behavior standards
* Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, initiatives and directives
* Assess and make recommendations to improve the commercial viability and availability of
* products for the district's stores
* Control all aspects of annual budget process, to include sales, controllable expenses, payroll
* and annual shrink results
* Lead the recruitment, on-boarding, training and development efforts in the district
* Develop an effective succession plan that lead to internal promotions
* Ensure compliance to established HR policies and procedures
* Recognize performance issues in a timely manner and partner with Director of Stores and
* Human Resources to develop action plans for resolution
* Coach, motivate and inspire store leadership teams to accomplish store
* goals and maximize their individual performance, both face-to-face and remotely
* Share best practices to drive overall Market and Global retail performance
* Complete all applicable training programs and effectively apply the learning on the job
* Seek coaching and learning opportunities to continually improve your performance
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
* Must possess and consistently exhibit the competencies relative to the position
* Excellent Skills in operating personal computers, POS systems, and various software
* packages including MS office
* Knowledge and understanding of profit and loss statement and store Key Performance
* Indicators to make
* commercial decisions based on sound financial judgment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to lead discussions in diverse groups of varying size
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong independent decisions
* Demonstrate an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment
* Ability to travel 50% of the time to all stores within designated district and in some cases with
limited notice
Qualifications: (Minimum required education and experience):
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or a minimum of three years in Sporting Apparel & Footwear Retail industry in a sales or operations management position; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 5-7 years of increasing experience in retail management that includes a minimum of 3 years as a Store Manager
* 3 years multi-store management experience
The Reebok brand has moved their HQ to a 220,000 square-foot section of the Innovation and Design Building in Boston's Seaport District. This move has brought community fitness to a next generation design and innovation space; the all new workplace fosters a vibrant collaborative culture and allows the brand to be closely connected to the community in Boston. Alongside state-of-the-art office spaces, the headquarters is equipped with an employee fitness center and a retail store.
