Warehouse - Full-time / Part-time

The responsibilities of the Warehouse Attendant include:           Preparing, delivering and retrieving patterns, molding supplies (filters, sleeves, etc.) and associated equipment.           Moving items to and from the molding centers as required by the production schedule and/or molding department.           Inspect patterns and equipment for damage before delivering to production and before returning to the proper storage location           Report all damage to supervision within the pattern and tooling department.            Establish record and update locations for all pattern equipment.            Keep the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion.           Report warehouse inventory on established spread sheet and turn in to molding supervisor.            Complete forklift maintenance sheet on and turn in to maintenance on weekly basis, immediately noting deficiencies.            Enter information as needed to the pattern in and out sheet.            Load and unload pattern and tooling vendor s trucks as needed in a professional manner.           Check all packing slips and verify contents before signing for them.           Turn in all packing slips and invoices to pattern engineering.            Install or remove as needed all chill nails as directed.            Interface with other functions as required.            Secure the pattern storage warehouse at the end of each day including locking all exterior doors.    The skills and qualification you will need for the Warehouse Attendant include:  

          Candidates must be able to drive a forklift and other power equipment with proper training. 

          Must be able to use the computer to locate and relocate the equipment. 

          Must lift over 40 pounds on a regular basis. 

          Ability to communicate with others in the plant with a courteous and professional manner. 

          Simple blueprint reading is required. 

          Candidate must have good attendance. 

          High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

 

The pay for the Warehouse Attendant is $14/hr. based on experience.  The hours are Monday  - Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Also required to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
