The purpose of this position is to efficiently manage procuring product and overseeing all inbound and outbound shipments for the Digital Product Content Production team. The Studio Inventory Specialist (SIS) is accountable for the accurate and timely execution of inventory strategies to ensure product is procured for targeted production milestones. To carry out these responsibilities, the SIS will communicate inventory request to vendors, execute product fulfillment, communicate proper in/outbound shipping procedures, and rectify shipping exceptions. This position also ensures all products are accurately routed within production facility and that priority products are routed to the appropriate content teams. In addition, the SIS will provide support to the studio production teams to ensure inventory is correctly identified, labeled and prepared for content production.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS:
• Identify products ready for procurement and makes requests to vendors for products
• Communicates clearly detailed SKU-level requests to vendors and other cross-functional partners
• Procures products through alternative pipelines as directed
• Verifies inbound shipments are accurate and complete
• Project manages the flow of products in and out of facilities
• Troubleshoots inaccurate and incomplete shipments
• Examines all packages to ensure items set have accurate and complete identifying product data
• Interpret content audits to properly tag individual items with corresponding content work orders
• Resolves all issues with in/outbound procedures as required by the loading dock
• Ensures products are procured in a timely manner to allow proper time for unpackaging, assembling and prep for photographers
• Procure all proper documentation for third party trucking vendors to pick up and drop off inventory to dock
• Performs all order monitoring/tracking: Monitor in/outbound tracking; monitors inventory pipeline and analyzes gaps to determine root-cause and resolution options
• Initiates and responds to product shipment inquiries (phone or email) regarding orders and tracking
• Supplements studio support when needed to prepare items for content enhancement
• Preserves the integrity of studio space to uphold facility regulations and safety guidelines
• Provides inventory tracking reports and updates to cross-functional teams dependent on inventory to execute content enhancement strategies
• Able to consistently lift and move heavy objects
• Will need to receive training and forklift certification

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· H.S. Diploma
· 2+ years experience in retail or related field
· Experience with basic computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office Suite
· Intermediate skills in MS Excel

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· Associate's Degree
· Forklift Certification
· 2+ years experience working with Vendors
· Familiarity with inventory control
· Experience with Content Management Systems
· Experience with Parcel Package Shipping
