About this job

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.


Ensure boxes are labeled and make sure day code stamp is correct.
Check parts for quality
Checks stack count to ensure each sub part is correct.
Ensure correct combinations of parts are hand packed in accordance with published specifications.
Make sure hand packer station is set up and organized for an efficient working area.
Follow and maintain safety polices and rules.
Keep scrap and trash off the floor and in the proper receptacle.
Other duties assigned by group leader and supervisor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
LANGUAGE ABILITY

The incumbent needs the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Need the ability to write simple correspondence.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

No Computer skills needed.

The employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
