Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Carpenter Helper III to be based in our Questa, New Mexico location.
Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:
The Carpenter is responsible for a full range of rough and finish skilled carpentry work. They work from blueprints, specifications, drawing and/or instructions to design, build, remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair various types of facilities and structures.
Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic construction principles. Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work. Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments. Spends large percentage of time assisting the craft discipline journeymen.

Prepares layout, using rule, framing square, and clippers

Designs and constructs concrete forms

Pour and finish concrete and tie rebar

Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools equipment and supplies as needed
- Cleans, maintains, adjusts, calibrates and services equipment used in the performance of duties
Minimum Requirements
Experience: One year of Carpentry experience

Preferred Requirements:
- Trade schools, seminar or other relevant training.
