For over 30 years, UPCO, Inc. has manufactured and supplied quality sucker rods and accessories to the global rod-lift market.  Our operating philosophy is focused on quality, value and on-time delivery.

We are looking for candidates who are dependable and have the same philosophy and values.

We have two openings for Machine Operators.  The responsibilities of these positions are:

• Operate a variety of CNC and conventional milling machines and lathes to manufacture parts.
• Select and use mounts and various machine attachments and standards
• Set and adjust speed, feed and depths of rod cuts
• Responsible for monitoring quality of product and materials being manufactured
• Edit programs on CNC equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on the equipment
• Ensure the correct materials are loaded on the machine in accordance with production orders
• Direct and monitor the execution of the inhibitor removal from the rods
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
• Conduct equipment inspections throughout the production process

Workmanship – Skilled duties include:

• Simple machine tool operation, inspection, and product assembly
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Perform routine machine adjustments and maintenance activities

2nd or 3rd shift available

Candidate must possess a High School Diploma or GED.  Manufacturing experience is a plus.
