Pizza Delivery Drivers - Full-time / Part-time

Marino's Pizzeria has immediate employment opportunities for the position of Delivery Driver, with both full-time and part-time schedules available. Previous delivery experience is preferred but not required.

In addition to delivering food to customer’s homes, responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, assisting with unloading supplies, prepping salads and dressings, assembling and stocking pizza boxes and other supplies, maintaining beverage cooler, emptying trash, and other general cleaning duties.

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following insurance requirements:

•Provide a copy of a state-issued MVR/driving record issued within the last fourteen (14) days

•Must be at least 18 years of age

•Licensed to drive for at least two (2) full years

•No more than one (1) accident and one (1) minor traffic violation within the past three (3) years

•Driver's license is valid and in good standing

•Fully-insured vehicle

•Drivers may qualify with up to two minor moving violations, or, one at-fault accident and one minor moving violation within the last 36 months

•No Major Violations within the past five years, including Driving Under the Influence, Reckless Driving, and Hit & Run, among others

Additionally, the ideal candidate would have most, if not all of the following traits, knowledge, capabilities, and tendencies:

•Familiarity with computers/POS Systems

**Weekend availability is required**

*Availability to work both lunch shifts (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and dinner shifts (4:00 p.m. to 9:00/10:00 p.m.) is strongly preferred but not a requirement.

Compensation for this position derives from the following three sources: 1. a base hourly pay rate of $8.50 per hour, which is one of the highest, if not the highest hourly pay rate offered in the industry 2. $1.00 per order delivered, 3. customer gratuity. The combined hourly rate from all three sources falls within the range of $12 - $18+ per hour.

Applicants must have a reliable, fully-insured vehicle. To be considered for this position, each candidate must meet the following insurance requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Licensed to drive for at least two (2) full years.
• No more than one (1) accident and one (1) minor traffic violation within the past three (3) years.
• Driver's license is valid and in good standing.
• An active insurance policy for the delivery vehicle.
• Drivers may qualify with up to two (2) minor moving violations, or, one at-fault accident and one (1) minor moving violation within the last thirty-six (36) months.
• No Major Violations within the past five (5) years, including but not limited to Driving Under the Influence, Reckless Driving, or Hit & Run.
• A copy of your state-issued MVR/driving record must be furnished within three (3) days of your completed interview. This document must be dated within the previous twenty-one (21) days.

• Availability to work both lunch shifts (10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.) and dinner shifts (4:00 p.m. until 9:00/10:00 p.m.)

Delivery Drivers receive compensation from the following three sources:

• A base hourly pay rate of $8.50 per hour
• $1.00 for each order delivered
• Customer gratuity

Our experienced, full-time drivers average $14.00 - $18.00+ per hour.

**Full medical benefits will be offered to all qualifying employees (full-time/35 hours per week for a minimum of 6 consecutive months) during the healthcare.gov annual signup period.
