Job Description:

TheGlobal Finance & Business Management - Audit (GF&BM – Audit) team isresponsible for providing Internal Audit reports related to departmentalactivities and the Firm's control environment. Additionally GF&BM – Audit department also assist Internal AuditManagers to manage their resources e.g., scheduling, finance and datamanagement support.

GF&BM– Audit provides direct report to the JPMC's Audit Department, which iscomprised of over 1,200 auditors globally, reports to the Audit Committee ofthe Board of Directors and is further accountable to the Chairman and CEO,senior management and regulatory agencies. Audit is an independent riskassessment function established within the organization to evaluate, test andreport on the adequacy and effectiveness of management's system of internalcontrol.

Team Description

TheGF&BM– Audit Reporting Team is responsible for collecting, organizingand analyzing data that is used to report audit results to Board and seniorlevel management. This includes compiling department performance metrics andreporting on audit activities for the firm's Operating Committee and other firmwide forums. Additionally, the team produces reporting on the audit plan,including ongoing monitoring of audit plan status and related reporting to theAudit Committee, and on the status of audit issues. As needed, the team alsoassists in the production of materials related to audit results and departmentactivities to support management and regulatory requests.

Position Description

Thisrole will actively contribute to the daily operations necessary to oversee adepartment of 1,200+ auditors. Primary responsibilities for this role includecombining data from a variety of sources, summarizing results, and visualizingfindings to provide insight for management, using cutting edge technology. Thisincludes weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting regardingaudit results and key performance indicators internally to senior managementwithin the Audit Department as well as externally to various JPMC operationalgroups, regulators and the Audit Committee. It is required that the associate havea strong technical skillset and must have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Generate reports from various sources,organize data outputs and produce recurring and ad hoc presentations to communicateaudit plan execution and audit results
  • Build data visualizations thateffectively communicate insights to management
  • Assist with the design and implementationof techniques aimed at proactively measuring execution risk
  • Analyze performance indicators for auditteams; communicate results across the department through written correspondence
  • Assist with preparation of Board-level presentationsaround audit results and performance of the audit department
  • Apply quality assurance practices toensure accuracy of output
  • Perform ad hoc projects in support of theReporting and Analysis team
  • Build and maintain key relationshipsacross the department
  • Provide IA Management with analysis thatprovides insights into key audit activity status and risks
  • 3+ years work experience in reporting oraudit/finance experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in MSExcel with large datasets and advanced functions
  • Strong technical skills and aptitude tolearn and use cutting edge technology
  • Experience with data visualization andreport automation tools (i.e., Tableau, QlikView)
  • Ability to understand and translatebusiness needs/requirements
  • Strong understanding of metrics andreporting processes
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidentialdata and issues
  • Detail oriented with strong communicationskills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Flexible, organized, self-motivated,enthusiastic and able to work independently
