The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of our hotel food & beverage outlets (Starbucks, T-Miller's Sports Bar, Liberty Bar, In Room Dining).
Responsibilities include:
* Achieves goals with Guest Satisfaction Scores (GSS) and online websites (Yelp, Google, TripAdvisor, etc.)
* Trains and develops Restaurant Managers and other leadership team members
* Develops and enhances standards through disciplined administration of departmental SOPs and excellent attention to detail
* Interview, hire, train, completes performance evaluations, resolves problems, provides open communication and recommends discipline and/or termination when appropriate
* Leadership skills to motivate team to ensure goals are achieved
* Ensures effective working relationships and clear communication are maintained with all colleagues and leaders in the outlets and other departments
* Ensures the financial success of the department by monitoring productivity, revenues, and expenses
* Communicates with the kitchen to ensure a common vision is shared
* Participates in the budgeting process by establishing clear and precise priorities for operational and capital expenditures
* Manages departmental payroll administration
* Develops and implements the departmental associate engagement survey action plans
* Any other duty as assigned
Job Requirement
* Previous F&B Management experience required
* Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
* College degree in hospitality or F&B management a plus
* Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and some long shifts
* Compensation: Negotiable
