What you will do:

The Regional BulkBusiness Manager reports to the Vice President, Bulk Sales and Operations, and isresponsible for managing all financial, commercial, contractual andadministrative aspects of the bulk business. This role supervises the bulk administration team.

Bulk Operations responsibilities:

  • Workswith the region sales, operations and admin teams with respect to all commercialaspects associated with new bulk customer startup, including financialevaluations, SAP and PROs setup, contract and contract package management, projectand data tracking and customer communications
  • Actsas a liaison between sales and operations
  • Responsiblefor contract administration
  • Includingthe initial processing and ongoing management of all customer contracts andrelated customer information packages ensuring compliance with company policiesand procedures.
  • managespricing and contract language updates for all processed contracts - ensures all contract terms are interpretedcorrectly to maximize for Airgas (ex. proper term length noted for newbusiness, renewals, upgrades; proper billing; proper price management noted andeffected ) develops and maintains new, simplified, more robust processes andprocedures using the new Kite platform
  • Responsiblefor field service time, equipment/parts and cost management
  • R&Mwork order entry and cost/labor tracking
  • POrequest and issuance to vendors
  • CAPEXmanagement
  • Monitorsall new installations, removals and other key projects withengineering/FSCs/FSTs, and distribution ensuring proper project tracking and costalignment with capital/budget commitments
  • Responsiblefor customer billings and invoicing
  • Assistswith the implementation and execution of price increase plans. Utilizes PROsand contract reviews to ensure we capture all price increase opportunities.
  • Overseesto ensure all price increase letters are sent and pricing adjusted in SAP.
  • Administersresolution of general customer inquiries. Coordinates with East Data Integrity Team and the Division BusinessService Center (BSC) ensuring accuracy of customer master data, customerset-up, collections and dispute resolutions.
  • Managesthe bulk equipment and inventory files
  • Managesthe bulk project list
  • Managesservice installation data and paperwork, ensuring first fill and upgradeinformation exists to determine first fill dates and proper billing.
  • Ensuresall First Fill Letters are sent
  • Coordinatesthe implementation of Force Majeure events with product/sourcing managers andsales management. Ensure letters arecreated, sent and filed for customers after legal review for both Force Majeureimplementation and removals.
  • Managesand tracks sales and field service special projects (eg. Telemetry, tankupgrades, LIN/LAR)
  • Establishesand maintains the critical bulk contract log.
  • Identifiesopportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of region contractadministrative processes and implements them.
  • Managesexpiration and notifications involving contracts, pricing and purchase orders.

Financial Planning and Analysis responsibilities:

  • Supportsannual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Preparemonthly, quarterly and annual reports presenting financial and operations resultsfor regional management as requested
  • Producesad hoc report and analysis as needed
  • Supportsregional administration of sales incentive programs
  • Performsvarious audit activities to ensure contract compliance and maximization of ROIincluding, but not limited to:
  • Pricingletter and contract terms review
  • Volumeanalyses
  • CapitalUsage versus tank size – optimization
  • Capitalspend analysis
  • Servicebilling review
  • FMbillings versus costs incurred

What you will have:

  • Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent business / finance management work experience.
  • 5 years' management experience working with multiple sales, operations andfinance functions within a larger matrixed organization.
  • 5 years' related experience in bulk and package gas or related energy industrydesired.
  • Knowledgeand understanding of commercial operating and contracting principles andpractices
  • Stronganalytical skills
  • Experienceworking across functional business units to develop effective businesssolutions that align with company and business unit / department objectives
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills
  • Experiencewith ERP systems, i.e. SAP, Oracle.
  • Proficiencyin personal computer applications such as EXCEL, PowerPoint, WORD,
  • Fundamentalunderstanding of basic accounting and financial reporting practices.
  • Abilityto manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Frequentregional travel.
  • Occasionalovernight travel.
  • Musthave reliable, appropriate transportation.
  • Livesby Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedureswhich are applicable to this position's responsibilities.
