About this job

Job Description

As a District Manager you enjoy the journey of developing extraordinary leaders, creating great customer experiences, impacting growth across Tria Restaurants (dba Burger King) and being part of local communities. The District Manager is a ‘hands-on’ leader who assumes personal ownership over each restaurant. This person is a problem solver, strong decision maker and visionary who sees the company goals clearly and can map out systematic steps to accomplish them.

Using your past leadership experience you will:

  • Grow a portfolio of successful businesses: Develop district-level strategies to achieve each store’s financial, operational and customer-service goals, while addressing each store’s unique strengths and challenges. Develop and execute store level plans that build sales, increase profits and develop people.
  • Lead a team of leaders: Motivate, coach and strengthen General Managers as team leaders and restaurant operators.
  • Serve as a resource: Provide expertise on key customer issues, team staffing and management, restaurant operations and company policies and procedures
  • Build successful teams: Analyze the staff and be able to devise the right kind of talent management and recruiting strategies. Identify training gaps and work to fill them.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of restaurant experience managing 5 or more units or 5+ years of single unit restaurant management experience leading a team including training and coaching, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations and financial reporting including Profit/Loss Statements, Inventory Management, Schedule Management and a Service First mentality
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • A valid Driver’s License and a good driving record.
