Travel Merchandising

                                                Traveling Merchandisers Needed!!

                                      **Must be willing to travel at least 120-300 miles**

                                               Looking for teams of 2 or more to travel 

The Merchandiser will be responsible for providing services such as merchandising projects, planogram maintenance, overhead organization, and display/signage maintenance. They will take direction from an on-site lead and install new fixtures and merchandising products in new and remodeled stores. The job responsibilities will also include executing specific projects that introduce new items and conducting category resets.

Travel Pay:

• $20/per diem per day
• $0.15/mile after 60 miles each way
• Travel time after 2 hours each way
• Overnight stays with hotel room provided by company, paid at 100%, should you go too far from home.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install fixtures, displays, and merchandise

• Assist in plan-o-gram configuration and set up

• Assist with store remodels, renovations, and resets

• Assist other employees with assigned tasks

• Report issues that arise during the project to the assigned Team Lead

• Maintain a positive working relationship with all store employees and customers

• Responsible for logging billable time via a call-in or online system; will be required to log arrival time, all break, and departure times

***Basic tools are required on your first day of work which includes:

• Phillips and flat head screwdrivers
• Tape measure
• Safety knife/box cutter
• Pen/pencil
• Hammer
• Rubber mallet
• Work gloves
• Cordless drill/Impact wrench ( employee given 6 weeks to obtain, this item only )

Desired Skills and Experience

• Must have excellent interpersonal and customer support skills
• Must be able to read and understand plan-o-grams
• Must be able to read floorplans and have some knowledge of blueprints
• Must have good written and oral communication skills
• Must complete an internal certification program
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, daily access to the internet, and basic tools
• Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team
• Must be 18 years or older
• May be required to acquire certification to operate machinery (e.g. forklifts)
