Overview
The Visual Merchandise Manager for A Pea in the Pod reports to our Director of In-Store Experience at our home office. This individual is responsible for developing seasonal brand presentations that create a store environment and merchandise shopping experience that represents our brands and is compelling to our clients.
Responsibilities
* Develop compelling visual merchandising and window directives to increase store sales by reflecting brand image and seasonal inspiration, current fashion trends, inventory levels, store layout, and customer.* Partner with Merchandising to determine product placement, and review visual directives to support company strategic goals and objectives.* Partner with the Marketing Creative Department to create store brand positioning through in-store marketing and visual presentation using signage and lifestyle images.* Maintain knowledge of the industry and competition through frequent shopping of markets and research of current trends in merchandising techniques, interior displays, and in-store design.* Communicate visual directive to field organization, with weekly updates, monthly floor sets, and conference calls.* Build and maintain presentation standards guides* Complete special projects as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree preferred* 7-10 years prior retail apparel visual merchandising experience; management experience preferred.* Ability to travel; flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.* Ability to use photo technology* Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task environment.
