Job Summary

The Fleet Business Process Manager is responsible for, but is not limited to, Fleet Champion of Supply Chain initiatives and projects. Supports strategic leadership and management within the Private Fleet and Transportation department. Monitors and executes strategies that support cost/service and continuous improvements.

Supports the development and implementation of Supply Chain Project Rollouts. Analyzes Data and provides feedback to improve standards, metrics, processes and practices that align with company objectives. Ensures optimization of store delivery service, routing and assigning drivers, cost management, transportation function administration and regulatory compliance management. Able to create, develop and maintain Playbooks, Best Practices, Standard Operating procedures for all Fleet & Supply Chain initiatives. This position will be the SPOC for all Fleet/Supply Chain projects, position will actively engage in Kaizen events as a Fleet participant, as well as support locations through Training as projects are introduced. Position will work with Teams to Optimize Routes through existing and new software in Fleet environment. Will be available to Travel as Support and Training Champion.

Responsible for providing specialized expertise through project or process management. Responsible for leading major project, process, or program assignments. Acts as an expert in the field, using professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Drives change on the assigned projects or processes.

Job Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/Master Degree OR BA/BS Degree and at least 3 year of experience in a supply chain or business role
  • APICS CSCP Certification
  • Certified in Transportation and/or Logistics
  • Experience with Routing Software and or TMS System, AS400 or SAP Platform,
  • Experience with On Board Computers, Electronic DOT Logs, Electronic Driver vehicle Inspection reports
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations.
  • Knowledge of Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEP) compliance.
  • CSA Competencies
  • Experience with Route Planning and Optimization
  • Monitoring and analyzing Fleet KPI's
  • Private Fleet experience in a multi-stop environment
  • Internal or External Lean Six Sigma Training
  • Forecast business model using product volume & cost, forecasting Equipment & Staffing
  • Mentor, Build and Grow Talent within the Team
  • Willing to travel 50% Annually
