LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN LICENSE REQUIRED (Class D or higher)

$35 to $40 per hour - Permanent Position - Inside Work - Full Time

An exciting opportunity now exists to join DEFENDERS, the only ADT-Authorized Premiere Provider for home security systems.

DEFENDERS is searching for bright, highly motivated Licensed Electricians to join our team. As a Licensed Electrician, you must be a dependable and service focused professional who is interested in working in a fast-paced and demanding environment. You will be responsible for installing ADT Home Automation Systems in customer homes.

You will not be required to handle the sales or customer administration as you will have a DEFENDERS Sales Professional with you during the home visit. The homes you are visiting have already purchased a system so there is no random, unsolicited calls.

Responsibilities

The Low Voltage Technician will have a primary responsibility installing ADT security systems for preset residential accounts. We’re looking for a professional who:

• Can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge
• Can build rapport and trust
• Is comfortable being trained to install security systems
• Has flexibility to travel to existing clients’ home when needed

Qualifications

• GED or HS Diploma equivalent
• Security or home technology background a plus but not required
• A valid driver’s license
• Must own a cell phone
• Must complete and pass a pre-employment/drug background check
• Must currently hold a Class D or higher electrical license issued by the state of MA
