Description

The Digital Analytics group uses data-driven insights to fuel strategic growth for the Consumer Marketing & Virtual Channels team at Citizens. We believe that data should never exist in a vacuum; instead, it should be put to work to bring the best ideas and stories to our team.

To help with this, we're looking for an outstanding Senior Analyst – someone who can analyze massive data sets, make insightful cross-channel recommendations, and communicate strategic ideas. As a Senior Digital Analytics and Reporting Analyst, you'll help develop and implement web analytic reporting across Citizensbank.com, Online Banking and Citizens Bank Mobile App. As a central member of the Marketing and Virtual Channel team, the Digital Analytics Senior Analyst is responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data to derive compelling insights that drive the optimization of our online marketing initiatives and customer experience across our digital properties.

Ways you will make a difference:

  • Analyze website and mobile app data on traffic sources and patterns. Collecting, analyzing and reporting on data such as traffic, visitor behavior, page performance, and customer experience.
  • Analyze customer sales/acquisition data, connecting back-end customer database results to site and media performance
  • Provide insight on data trends and anomalies, making recommendations where appropriate to improve business performance.
  • Connecting the dots across channels through data (including display media, site, search, email, and social) to provide a holistic view of marketing efforts
  • Create, manage and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing online analytic tools (Adobe Analytics, Data Warehouse and ReportBuilder)
  • Collaborate with business executives to present key findings and insights. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Digital Sales, Digital Banking, etc.) to provide reporting and analysis specific to particular teams' needs.
  • Identify new opportunities through the use of quantitative data gathered with the Adobe toolset combined with data from other systems. Use quantitative data to help measure success of various campaigns on the website.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, computer science or a related field preferred
  • A minimum 5 years' experience in marketing/website analytics
  • Experience and understanding of web analytic reporting tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.) required
  • Knowledge of digital data technologies (Site tagging, DMPs, digital pixel tracking, etc.)
  • Experience with predictive analytics tools including SAS, R, or SPSS, etc preferred
  • Fluency with Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups) and/or other data analysis tools such as SQL or Tableau
  • High degree of proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Curious, self-motivated thinker; always asks why and strives until the answer is clear.
  • Strong oral/written communicator with demonstrated experience translating analytics findings into business insights and influencing business stakeholders to drive action and optimize business performance
  • Passion for digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape
