Job Summary

AECOM is looking for

Cleared Senior Logistics Professionals to work in Inventory Management and Property Control with

active high level government clearances - Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph.

This is a senior level position work within the Inventory Management occupational specialty with officers generally located in various Directorates, Components and Staffs throughout the customers organization.

At the senior level, incumbents work independently with broad lateral guidance and are responsible for overseeing the overall inventory management of accountable property provided to the customer. Incumbents may supervise other contractors assigned to the same work unit.

Duties include:

  • Overseeing the administration and control for accountable property.

  • Create hard copy documentation for addition, adjustment and deletion of property for signature of accountable officer.

  • The incumbent will prepare, issue and update hand receipts, conduct at least an annual inventory and document those findings to the office of assignment.

  • assist with the purchase of materials and services

  • direct the complete process for transporting people and goods

  • oversee materials management within area of assignment

  • coordinate and plan facility services

  • manage funding issues and personnel resources

  • administer all elements of multi-faceted programs

  • Based on assignment, incumbents may serve as a first-line contractor supervisor or team leader, overseeing, directing, guiding, prioritizing and delegating work assignments for other contractors on the team.

  • Based on assignments, incumbents may provide assistance to the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative.

Performs other duties as assigned.

IND-ICS

Minimum Requirements

  • High Level Government Clearance - Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph. TS/SCI

  • High School Diploma or a GED certificate

  • Four+ years experience in Inventory Management or a related Property Control expereince.

  • Ability to become familiar with Customer and Logistics Department regulations, policies, and unique authorities.

  • Extensive knowledge of general logistical policies and procedures.

  • Extensive knowledge of overall logistic processes, policies, and regulations.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to use various databases and applications independently (e.g., procurement databases).

  • Ability to comprehend the implications of process, policies and regulations against requirements.

  • Ability to make decisions and solve complex problems effectively and independently.

  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and requirements.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage resources.

  • Ability to work independently and responsibly.

  • Ability to establish a new network of professional working relationships with customers, colleagues, and service providers, while further developing existing networks.

  • Ability to motivate, advise, and develop subordinates.

  • Ability to develop self and mentor other contractors, and ability to effectively manage and lead other contractors.

  • Ability to implement higher level organizational goals and track budgets.

  • Ability to identify alternative solutions.

  • Ability to interact with people who have different values, cultures, or backgrounds.

  • Working knowledge of Project Management concepts and principles.

  • Experience in Word, Excel, Access, Internet, various internal databases and systems to request services, travel and complete accounting.
