Responsibilities and Qualifications

Under direct supervision of the radiology supervisor, performs routine radiographic procedures utilizing all standards for quality and radiation protection.

Performs professional diagnostic radiological services on a daily basis under general supervision utilizing approved policies and procedures.

Maintain a high-level of consciousness for quality patient care and safety always demonstrating a compassionate and professional affect.Accurately position and select radiographic technique according to department policy and procedures to ensure optimum image quality.Knowledgeable in all functions of operation of the equipment utilized during diagnostic radiographic procedures including but not limited to fixed and mobile x-ray, fluoroscopy, digital imaging, image processing, and PACS image archiving.Accurately and efficiently perform and complete all radiographic procedures within established quality assurance and productivity standards.Appropriately inform/educate all patients prior to their procedure and provide post-procedure instruction according to procedure protocols.

Education: Graduate of a JRCERT accredited associate or baccalaureate degree radiography program. Licensure: Experience: Certifications: ARRT certification. Other: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer and digital imaging experience necessary.Preferred Experience: Six months experienced preferred.
