This position reports to the Manager of Financial Analysis and, is a key position responsible for assessing performance and profitability, variance analysis, and various financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a proven ability in identifying performance drivers and providing actionable guidance to Senior Management within a prior Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or other comparable role. Furthermore, this position requires an adaptable individual who is capable of succeeding in a fast paced, changing environment as well as one who will utilize independent judgment and initiative to identify areas of improvement and opportunity to drive bottom-line profitability. A successful candidate must be open and willing to complete other duties as expected and assigned with limited direction.

Experience Required: 3-5 years of related experience.
Knowledge Required: Knowledgeable of accounting practices and financial systems. Excellent written and verbal communications skills as would be needed to communicate in person, by phone, and through email; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply information. Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products. Ability to develop and maintain business relationships. Must also have the ability to further learn and be successful in using other software as deemed necessary for the position.
Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time; standing occasionally; walking; bending; squatting; kneeling; pushing/pulling; reaching; twisting; frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.; typing; data entry; grasping; transferring items between hands and/or to another person or receptacle; use of office equipment to include computers; ability to travel to, be physically present at, and complete the physical requirements of the position at any assigned location.
Travel: 5-10%. Field visits to locations where particular products are offered will be necessary to develop and maintain the expected level of expertise in business performance.
Attire: Professional attire (as required by company standards).
Other: Must be eligible to work in the USA and able to pass all pre-employment screens.

Support and manage competing priorities in order to meet departmental needs and position objectives

Direct and perform financial analyses and monitor key performance indicators

Complete Ad-hoc requests and what-if analysis

Collaborate with product managers and field staff to evaluate actual performance compared to plan, prior year forecast.

Through exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicate and influence all levels of staff up to executive level management

Responsible for completing and analyzing financial statements - actual, forecast, and planning both short and long term

Responsible for completing various presentations for Senior Management

Drive improvement in product profitability through analysis and financial modeling

Responsible for specific tasks during the annual budgeting process

Must have and will frequently employ the use of expert Excel skills and strong ERP/Accounting system (SAP, JDE, Oracle). Preferred experience in relational database querying (SAS/SQL/Access)
