Role Summary:

BHGE has an opening for an Asset Scheduler for the Drilling Services Division. Role will include managing asset build plan, working with procurement and manufacturing planning departments on timing of make / purchased material. Managing multi-BOM level assemblies with coordination between the warehouse and shipping departments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Possesses and applies knowledge of production process and flow throughout the manufacturing shop
  • Reviews global forecast for order creation and piece part fulfillment
  • Monitoring forecast and spares consumption against build schedule
  • Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Utilize strong customer service mentality to provide status updates and recommendations to meet or exceed customer's expectations in terms of delivery
  • Capacity Planning for Manufacturing
  • Weekly reporting of schedule and order book to management
  • Assist other members of the planning team with workload issues, as needed
  • Works closely with internal suppliers for scheduling

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of Capacity and Production Planning experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the products manufacturing process

  • Knowledge of MRP systems
  • Strong SAP experience in production planning
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite experience (Excel & PowerPoint)
